1. Dining room was not available to individual guests as it was being used by large groups. This meant if I wanted to dine in the hotel I had to eat outside in the garden area that offered a menu. Eating outside in the hotel garden in chilly evenings meant we had to wear overcoats. Service was slow there too as the kitchen was giving priority to the large groups. I challenged managment about their "lets exclude" individual guests from indoor dining and they just smiled and shrugged. The hotel has no complaints proceedure - when I asked for a complaint form they gave me a blank sheet from the photocopier and a white envelope! In addition there was no attempt made by the hotel to control the behaviour of unruly people and their children in the public areas. In all a disappointing experience.
