1. Do not stay here even if you have loads of money. I did not enjoy this hotel at all. It was in a beautiful location but thats where it ends, you had to take a tram which took 50 minutes from oslo to get there. Then take a walk up a road with no directions and very bad street lighting to find the hotel purely by chance. There was not a shop or anything around it. Everything in the hotel closed at 10 pm. The items such as a sandwich from the main desk after ten was an outrageous price as was drinks. The staff made us wait for an hour for a toasted sandwich thrown on a paper plate. The mini bar was very over priced. There was no kettle in the room and you had to pay for most of the channels on the TV. The cleaning staff did not clean our room daily and our towels were not changed daily, had to ask for new ones. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Too expensive for items that the hotel takes advantage of you due to its isolated location. Frank Lambe, Ireland
23-Aug-072. we were not aware that the hotel was as far from the station, a good 15-20 min walk. with heavy bags this was not good. fantastic train journey to top of mountain, no pick up to hotel. the hotel is a fantastic place to stay. the views are superb, staff all very helpful and i really enjoyed my stay there. would love to visit in the winter time. steve rowe, United Kingdom
