1. The hotel was clean and tidy. A new paint job inside the hotel made for a really funky look. Rooms were a good size and breakfast was the standard bread roll, croissant, coffee and/or juice nothing to rave about but so typical of Italian hotels. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of a building very close to the Termini train station along with 5 other hotels in the same building (all on a different floor). Unfortunately being so close to the train station meant that there was a tremendously large amount of traffic in the street at all hours of the night and day. The room appeared to be sound proof to everything but this traffic. We were kept awake until 2:00-3:00 am every night by the noise and then awoken every morning at 5:30 am to the sound of trucks grinding their gears and slowing revving up and down the street. This noise is a HUGE negative. I couldn't believe that street noise would be so loud and would last all night long but it did. No fridge in the room also negative.
