1. Excellent hotel with pleasant staff. Convenient parking a short walk away with allocated parking space was well worth the extra charge if travelling with a car. Not the best part of town but all major sites are walkable to if you are reasonably fit, and we neer felt unsafe on the walks regardless of time of day or night. Meal facilities at the hotel are very limited, but Florence is full of excellent restaurants if you choose carefully. Victor Levenson, United Kingdom
16-Aug-072. This hotel cannot be faulted for cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. We asked several times for advice regarding buses, trains restaurants and were always provided with genuine and helpful advice. Drinks, coffees etc were all first class and reasonably priced. Probably the best hotel we have stayed in in 10 years of frequent travel. If there is a drawback it is that the hotel is situated a 15 minutes walk from the centre of Florence, however, a frequent bus service is available about 200m from the hotel which we used when we couldn't be bothered to walk.
