1. Breathtaking view and location..... but miles as in miles away from the main beaches, which meant we were victimized by taxis with jacked up fares! The hotel sometimes provided free transportation and the staff was always bright and cheerful. The rooms were fantastic and luxurious! The baht dollar conversion rate they were quoting was a bit inflated and I ended up paying more than I thought I would, I did get an extra night at a better rate though, but the exchange rate should be regulated. 22-Mar-072. Beware!! This place really is on a cliff!! We were about half way down, and I counted over 100 steps to get back up to the road. It very quickly becomes a pain, especially if you have a toddler. Other than that it's a 15-20 minute ride from the main drag, which is a bit of an inconvenience too: you feell a little isolated. On the whole you get what you pay for here, the problems account for the surprisingly low rate. Anonymous
