1. Room (b01) was far too hot (pipes underfloor) and only way of cooling it was to open a window with public access. Upper floor rooms might be better? Premises generally tatty and very basic but reasonably clean. Bed very uncomfortable (uneven, worn-out springs). Breakfast chaotic and basic - but at least there is real butter, marmalade and orange (from concentrate) - and fried eggs. Service - just! The only reason to return would be convenient but quiet location.

2. The staff are nice but the hotel facilities totally need maintenance. What I don't understand was they just put the painting on the floor while the other painting hang on the wall. They didn't do anything with that painting until we left the hotel. Lift was out of order, so we have to carried 4 big luggages through tiny stairs to level 2. My point is this hotel is awfull.
