1. For families with children, this is an excellent apartment; spacious, clean, modern and very centrally located. The facilities in the apartment are very good, although I would really recommend better washing machines, the ones they have now are too complicated and don't work very well. But that is just a small thing. The staff is competent and friendly, they are willing to help you finding your way in Christchurch. We would definitely stay there again. 09-Jan-072. This was an excellent hotel in a prime location near Cathedral junction. Our room looked down onto the glass roof of the tram station which was located in the station arcade and the old trams exited to the front next to the entrance of the hotel. The room itself was very spacious with all mod cons and very well presented, clean and somewhere you wanted to make a meal or just sit on the small balcony with a glass of wine. Don't sit to long though as this is a fantasic city, very English though cosmopolitan at the same time. A trip on the tram with commentary a must, picking out all the places to visit and an insight to best eating and drinking establishments. A free internet is supplied for use of the guests and garaging for your vehicle is available at a small cost. Our only gripe and it is a very minor one, was the poor continental breakfast supplied.
