1. This hotel is basic but its clean and the staff are quite helpful.It's located close to bus stops, train and underground so it's easy enough to get into the center of Rome.You'll need to bring a towel, the ones they supply are paper thin.There is a night club next to the hotel and it's quite loud but it shouldn't be a problem if you're at the opposite end and if you do enough walking you'll sleep through it.There's and little cafe across the street and it's very reasonable for a few quiet drinks and the end of the day.

2. seems to be in a bad area, we were kept awake by comings & goings, smashing noises, and other unsavoury sounds which i can't describe on a respectable website. all in all it was a bit unsettling.
