1. Port Douglas Retreat was very pleasantly located, near to the beach as well as a busy main street with shops, bars and resturants. The apartments themselves were unserviced, which means, cleaning, emptying bins etc is down to oneself. Also clean towels, etc have a small fee. Just something to bear in mind when choosing these apartments. Reception staff were helpful with advice on trips and places to visit.

2. In walking distance of all the major ammenities of Port Douglas. Bear in mind that these are unserviced appartements, recomended non the less.
