1. This hotel does not deserve the star rating it currently enjoys. We arrived late in the afternoon to be greeted by very surley staff. They say first impressions count, unfortunatly it was down hill from there. The "resort" itself is very dated, it needs a good clean a fresh coat of paint and some new furnishings. The lamp shades look as though they were installed when the "Resort" was first built. They are now stained and tired. The restaurant was closed at night so we had to contend with bar food which was very upappetising. The bar staff were the only members of staff who managed to smile, they were welcoming, curteous and helpfull. This is the first time I have felt it necessary to rate a hotel badly.
