1. I stayed there because I was going out in Penrith and didn't want to drive all the way back to Sydney the same night. The staff were friendly, it's definatly a budget motel but with that in mind it's reasonable. It's is easy to find and not far from the shops etc. It was suprisingly quiet even though the room I was in had it's window facing onto a main road. Good place for an overnighter. 12-Jun-072. Well, we tried to HOLD the room with a credit card, but pay with cash, and they wouldn''t allow it, so that was a little irritating. We also felt a little mis-led when we read about the "family suite" on the internet (for which we couldn''t get pix OR someone on the telephone about it) and came to find (when we got there) that it meant one room with a queen and 2 twin beds crammed in it. There were no alarm clocks in the room. The front desk closed down at 7pm, so you couldn''t even call to get a wake up call after 7pm. Oh, and our phone only worked about 1/2 the time we were there. It wasn''t a terrible place (no bugs or mold), but just keep in mind, you get what you pay for with this one. I wouldn''t want to stay there again, but if you are just looking for something cheap, it''ll do. Anonymous
