1. At £48 prpn for London it is excellent value. Our room was clean and adequate for our two night stay but it was a little bit on the small side. en suite was tiny - a converted cupboard. Bending over sink to clean teeth, you had to have the door open. Shower tray had several cracks in it, although I must admit it was clean. Definitely the worst part of the service was the Continental breakfast - APPALLING. The toaster didn't work, and the bread was the cheapest supermarket's own brand. No rolls, croisants or pastries. The tea/coffee making machine produced frothy TEA which tasted and looked like dirty dish water. No one in attendance. It was so bad that on our 2nd morning gave it a miss. In it's favour - at £48 per night we could afford to go out and buy breakfast elsewhere. One thing in this hotel's favour is its proximity to Finsbury Park tube station. The Piccadily line is so useful for most central London destinations.

2. Very much a hotel for those on a smaller budget, but with free parking & a great location, it suited us & our 4-year-old daughter perfectly for our 2 night break. The lady on reception was very friendly too. They could do with getting the toasters in the breakfast area mended though, as people were queueing for their toast! Would stay there again as it was completely adequate for our mini break!
