1. A good studio unit. Not a good hotel for a tourist without a car as there were no facilities for booking tours. However, the bus stop was only 50 metres from the door. No dining room attached to the hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Peter Moody, New Zealand
27-Jul-072. I was disappointed with the lack of co-operation shown by the staff in trying to allocate me a room that suited me better. I booked a six night stay for a Studio Room about 4 weeks prior to my stay. I requested a room with a balcony. Although I know that such requests are not garanteed, most of the studio rooms with balconies were vacant except for 2 nights during my stay, furthermore I did not see anyone using the balconies on the nights the rooms were occupied. This indicates to me that the people who had been allocated those rooms did not see the balcony as a priorority. I therefore don't understand why and don't accept that I could not have been allocated a room with a balcony in preference to those people who obviously had not requested one. Consequently, I had to upgrade to a one bedroom unit with a balcony at a cost of $139 a night. At that price I could have stayed at a hotel with better facilities (Ie: a mini bar, room service and balcony) Anthony Dingwall, Australia
