1. An old hotel in the heart of the city on a quiet-ish side road with veiws of the Duomo from the front entrance. As it is old, it is a little run down compared to a state of the art modern hotel on the edge of the city but it is clean and suitably decorated with frescos on the Dining Room and Landing ceilings. Staff are very friendly and helpful and speak very good English. I would stay here again the next time I go to Florence David holt, United Kingdom
