1. Very modern clean hotel styled apartments. Has a small galley style kitched and desk with broadband access (for a cost). Only gripe is that the rooms aren't serviced. While that is not a problem (and in fact preferable), we were only given 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets for our stay which were not refreshed. Might have been able to get more at reception. There was also no electric blankets on the bed and just an electric heater to warm the room, which it did eventually. The corridors are quite cold so if you were coming in late and wanted to get straight to bed, it's a bit chilly. The hotel is quite central though and it's a short walk to most of Christchurch's attractions. A more groovy area is found by going left on Manchester from the hotel and into the lanes for some interesting bars and shops. There was a pool table and lounge area past reception which I didn't notice until later and it wasn't pointed out to us either. I'd definitely stay here again. Kris Goman, Australia
