1. Our family found this hotel to be very convenient as there were at least 50 eateries just half a min from the hotel entrance.l would recommend this hotel if it is just for one or two nights stay and if you are spending most of your time outside the hotel.Make sure you find the exact hotel location first before you embark on the journey(self drive) as it is tucked away in a 'local' area;which made this hotel area very homely.Service was attentive,(front desk Malay lady was nice during check-in and the carpark manager was very kind) However, housekeeping should be improved.

2. Nova hotel is clean, functional and in a great location. If you like all-night dining Jl Alor is home to the best 24-hour Chinese and Indian food stalls in the city, and a very short walk from malls and transport to more up-market places. As you walk into reception from the swealtering heat of the day the fierce ac is very welcome. It's a pity that the acs in the rooms are not so well-maintained. However, the staff managed to smile as they moved me from room to room until we found a good one! The downside is that, apart from the individually controlled water heaters in the showers, Nova Hotel is not even a little bit eco-friendly. Once-used bars of soap and half-empty are thrown away and replaced every day, and there is no provision for reusing your towels. I would recommend Nova Hotel with one word of caution: your taxi driver is just likely to take you to Novotel, so make sure you remember the name of the street.
