1. Indoor Swimming pool is for 18 years and above. No Child carriers on the rental bicycles. Poor English on the in room information can lead to some embarressment. (free drink between 830am and 8pm) "just for you service" for executive floor. The Japanese information is correct and says welcome drink which is valid once per stay. The hotel is amazing and the intention of the staff to make you comfortable makes up for it. In room massage service was average. Suprisingly there was no free pc/internet servie available in lobby but you can use pc in business center for a fee. The rooms do have wireless access for those who have a wireless device. Everyone I asked responded in English and most of the staff spoke very well :) Anonymous
20-Sep-072. For a 5 star, the rooms are furnished rather shabbily. The couch was stained and old and the room smelt musky. We had a triple and the foldaway bed which was the third bed was rather flimsy. However, hotel room was BIG with extra big COUCH and it also offered a magnificent view of the river, OSAKA castle and a baseball stadium. At night, one can see the city lights plus all the lights around the OSAKA castle. Worth staying here for the view and the location is very pleasant and not far from the nearest station. I do not think counter staff was friendly but the bell staff were great. Nearby restaurant in IMP Building level 26F called Asahi beer hall is great for a beer and dinner with views. There is no shopping to be done here so it offers a total chill out after a day's touring. Osaka is a fun city, so much to shop and eat and of course easier to get to Hiroshima from here than from Kyoto if you have JR Pass which disallows Nozomis. Anonymous
