1. The location is not near any major shopping belt but it has the MTR that is almost opposite the hotel. There is a tram station, bus stop and a mini bus interchange nearby. The hotel is kept clean and the room is comfortable for a single or couple traveller. The hotel offer free in-room internet access. For travellers who like to soak in a tub, this hotel may not be suitable as the toilet only comes with a shower stand. Overall, it is a good hotel and it will be better if the price is lower as the location is not so ideal. Kris Tang, Singapore
18-Apr-072. I stayed at Metropark earlier this year, and was very pleased with the hotel. My twin std room was cozy and sufficient for my short stay. There was also only a small shower (std rooms in hkg don't have space for much more). The hotel is a short walk (<5 mins) from Tin Hau MTR station on the Island line. The Island electric tram line is also nearby making this hotel very accessible. The only down side is there is not much to do in Sha Tin area itself. The rooftop pool is closed during winter, even though I felt it wasn't that cold. However, you can still get a good view of the north side of Hong Kong island and part of Kowloon here.
