1. The Hotel Leonardo was a lovely typical Italian hotel. It's just a bed and breakfast but who wants to eat in their hotel anyway? The hotel was very well located, close to the river and to the Leaning Tower, the room was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and welcoming - they couldn't help us enough when we had a purse stolen (not in the hotel!) and helped us to contact the police and the insurance company - and it was very good value too. 08-Oct-072. The hotel is at a very good location - just off one of the main pedestrian streets. Pisa is so small that everything is within walking distance, so from the hotel to the Leaning Tower takes about 10mins walk. The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms are a bit small, but clean. The breakfast selection was very good! The only downside is having to check out by 10:30am. Nicoletta Nicolaou, Cyprus
