consumer comments
1. Quite basic for the price - better accommodation in wellington for as good if not cheaper price. We stayed a Friday night and it was a bun fight in the bar to get service- obviously a popular end of week rendezvous for the yuppies. Hey but good on them albeit not quite for us. Proximity to the show we were attending (WOW awards) was excellent. We will stay again but on another night methinks. Didnt get a thankyou card on checkin but we had a trainee on the desk- she did well however and we couldnt fault them or the valet staff Gary Vickers, New Zealand
03-Oct-072. My pleasure to arrive at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor to be treated to wonderful service by staff, the task of unloading my car and taking it away for parking made the first impression, to changing the room that was not suitable, without any fuss was too easy. A short stay that I throughly enjoyed,I will return. Sharon McCarthy Wendy Hamilton, New Zealand
