1. A huge old hotel, extended through the years to take up most of a city block in Cairns. Expensively renovated in the 80s, some of it is very tired now, especially the stained carpet. Breakfast on the verandah is a very pleasant experience. Richard McLean, Australia
07-Jan-072. Very good location, nice to have some food thrown in wiht the room, even if it was not very good! Room was nice and clean, although i had to change mine because i wanted a room witha bit more of a view than a wall, that meant haveing a noisy street through, nothing a bit or ear plugs can not cure! Reception was very helpful, although there was only one person there and it was very busy! Anonymous
