1. For London a good Hotel, if you don't have to stay in downtown Bernet Crucq, Netherlands
04-Jan-072. The hotel was in a really good location but the hotel itself was nothing what we expected. We were given a room that was located in the basement. It was very small and not very clean. There were no lifts and we had to try and negotiate the stairs with our luggage that were no more than 1 meter wide. We could not sleep the first night as there was a drain located right outside our window that was dripping loudly all night. We asked to be located to another room but this was denied. The staff at the counter could not speak very good English and were hard to communicate with. We had a continental breakfast included in the price but this was a joke. It consisted of coffee, orange juice if it was available, toast and jam. The staff in the kitchen were yelling at each other each morning that we were there. I must say that I have stayed in some bad hotels before but this takes the cake. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Peter Rooyakkers, Australia
