06-Jul-072. When we booked for our visit in November, the Hotel Punta Negra was recommended to us by another hotel in Mallorca which we first called, but was closing for the season. We took that as a good recommendation and were not disappointed. The setting is lovely, the service relaxed but attentive, and the price very good. We were also upgraded to a suite without asking or charge. This was a good size and had an excellent view. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and ate in three nights, be warned though if you order the Cordon Bleu, it is lamb not chicken! Our only other comment is that the beds were a little firm for us. but better that way than too soft. Peter Wignall, United Kingdom
