1. This hotel looked tired and in need of refurbishment. So many things in our room were broken and no-one had bothered to repair them. There was missing plaster on the walls, the loo roll holder was broken, the sink didn't drain. The hot water failed twice, requiring us to call out maintenance twice just to get a hot shower. The sink had no cold water. Attracts a noisy crowd.
