1. Cheaper than most hotel prices yet in a perfect location! Situated mid-way between La Ramblas and the olympic port...both are in easy 10 minute walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants, sights and shops in the immediate vacinity aswell. Barcelona is a wonderful city and I will stay here again when I return. The apartment itself is on the small side but more than enough for the money. The communal entrance knocks you back a bit as could do with a tidy and a lick of paint but once inside the room all changes. Clean, tidy and modern with all furniture looking like it is from IKEA. The only downside was that it was slightly on the small side. Tryin to find space to manouvere in the shower cubicle is also highly amusing! As long as you're prepared for that then this will suit you fine - especially couples on those weekend getaways. Darren Lammers, United Kingdom
27-Apr-072. well-equipped, clean appartment in an old residential district, many shops and restaurants nearby, railway station (Franca - direct train to the airport) and metro (Barceloneta) in short distance, close to harbour, beaches and Barrio Gotico; shabby staircase, modern furniture; moderate traffic around (small one-way streets), Vespas and construction work in the next street forced us to close the windows in early morning, AC worked well; there is no reception, a kind guy came up with the keys 15 mins after our call Jan Koehler, Germany
