1. The hotel is a nice, professional hotel, which is more functional as a business hotel than a tourist hotel. It has a nice roof top restaurant, with terrace. I recommend going half board (your choice of lunch or dinner). It only costs 8 euro extra and is great value for money. The rooms are a good size with good bathrooms. Ask for a room facing the marina. The views are fantastic. The hotel doesn't have any other leisure facilities (no swimming pool, sauna etc). The Faro Hotel is only 10 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the bus station and about 30 minutes (by coach) from the airport. The surrounding town is a bit confusing. Go to the local tourist information office and they will give you a great map of the town. Lots of nice cafes and restaurant/bars around the area.
