1. This hotel was not up to standard It was in a poor and noisy location and the corridors to our room were unlit until you stumbled and activated the light once inside. The corridors were disgustingly smelly. The only mitigating feature were the pleasant staff.

2. This was a last minute booking that worked out very well. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and the appartment was well maintained and appointed. Our only minor issue was the underground car park where access and parking spaces were extremely tight and I was glad that I had a relatively small hire car. Access would have been almost impossible for a larger car especially to the lower floor.
