1. On one of main roads into York, 10-15 mins walk from city centre and good for rail station. You could say this place is old-fashioned, I'd say it has character. Room was fine, staff very friendly, breakfast good (but it was not included in my room rate - depends what deal you get when you book). I'd certainly use this place again. Phil Scott, United Kingdom
