1. very slow front desk service- we were the only people at the front desk when we arrived at about 7.30 pm. When we did get served we were not treated too well- we had to ask where the lifts were, had to ask about our car parking etc- there was no attempt to find our needs or wishes, and we were answered ok, but in a sort of " thats a dumb question" style- most off putting, I felt like a retarded 5 year old. Breakfast service was very slow. we went and helped ourselves as there was no staff there. Another couple came in had their breakfast and left withoiut seeing anyone, so they happily had a free breakfast. I had to go and find someone to sign for what we had, and it was no better the second morning. We had 15 minutes alone in the breakfast room without seeing any staff! Crazy! Rooms were ok and lovely views, very good location. Richard evans, New Zealand
