1. The Copthorne on Durham is in a prime location for Casino, Town Hall, restaurants, and central Christchurch. the service was very average to the point of bad! The absolute worse thing about this hotel is the size of the rooms, I have never stayed in a hotel with such a small space and would not go back to this hotel. I am only glad that I did not pay the full nightly rate, as this would have been an insult. I can only say that it was ok for the one night, but any longer, a big no thanks. Lynn Baker, New Zealand
06-Sep-072. Excellent location when working at the Convention Centre. Rooms are not the most exciting but all the necessary facilities were available. I was given a large room with two beds and overall the service provided was very much in line with what I expected. WIFI is on the expensive side, but then it always is in NZ and AUS.
