1. The staff was very cold. We asked for directions for something around the corner which would have taken him the same amount of time to tell us around which corner as it did for him to tell us that he did not answer those sort of questions and direct us to the concierge. the rooms are also incredibly small.

2. Very discrete entrance on Jermyn St, I walked past it not realising it was a hotel rather than the entrance to an office. Room was small but bed was very comfortable. Shower over bath is bad for tall people and sink was one of those silly modern upturned cones (very difficult to keep all the water in the basin). Restaurant was pretty good for pre-theatre dinner but bar in foyer is cramped and very overpriced even for a hotel.
