1. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is right across from the train station, but also near most major things you'll want to see or do in Geneva. The rooms reminded me of dorm rooms to some extent with old furniture, but everything was completely functional and so as long as you're not planning on spending all day in the room, it's fine. (It probably won't work so well for a romantic getaway.) The bathroom was somewhat small (especially the shower), but again, met all basic needs of a tourist. The breakfast was not quite as nice as some other Geneva hotels I've tried, but it was still plentiful. The insulation on the balcony door kept street noise at a minimum. The free wifi in the lobby worked well, easily accessible with their password from your own laptop. While I've mentioned some things that may sound like turnoffs, overall I was extremely happy that I had picked this hotel and definitely recommend it for tourists in town just for a day or two.
