1. It was the 4th day of Chinese New Year when we check in and waited for about 40mins before we finally got a room. We were also disappointed that the TV did not have any sports channel and happened there's a big match early next morning. Its an average hotel which needs a bit of refurbishing. 14-May-072. The staff members I encountered were efficient and friendly. Rooms are spacious and well-kept. However, certain rooms do not command very good views of Penang. Room amenities and hotel facilities are aplenty and well-maintained. Buffet breakfast had a wide spread of local and international food. Location of hotel is not too bad but the taxi ride into the "old town" is a little expensive. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to all travellers, especially those travelling as a family.
