1. Not a resort style hotel. Has no gardens. Nothing else to do (ie: tennis, volley ball, boche balls types of entertainment). The staff have very little english capabilities. We had major problems with room minibar charges. We were very insulted at check out time. They actually sent a staff member to check the room to make sure that the minbar was correct, that the number of towels were in the room was correct and then tried to charges us for on pool side towel that was not in the room. The bell boys etc have a racket going with the "tuk-tuk" drivers by setting prices and taking a cut for themselves. Donot ask the bell boys for an umbrella. They make you sign for one out and if you do not return the brollies they want you to pay 350B for it. The images of this hotel on the net do not tell the true story of the poor location is on at Patong Beach. Maybe we expected to see a tropical setting around the hotel. An over priced block of flats.
