1. No lift - 58 steps to '3d' floor (5th by U.S. standards as we count the ground floor and the second floor, used by proprieter). However, the location is fantastic and the breakfast is OK. The staff were helpful, including the maid putting our rain-soaked baby car seat liner in the washer to spin dry.

2. Good position in the town and friendly helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms - at a temperature of 47 deg outside the hotel was wonderfully cool.
