1. receptionists were welcoming, very helpful. we arrived early and were able to leave our luggage safely at the hotel and go off to the lovre- within walking distance and not to be missed. the bed was a comfortable firm but the pillows too flat for our liking. no kettle in the room which we had hoped their would be but no objection to taking your own drinks in. Breakfast - cheerful young lady brings food/drink to your table. but no choice on the food. one large croissant and a stick of bread. plus drink. very small and crowded. but friendly. Situated between the Gare du Nord & the Gare du L'est. buy a carnet of tickets = book of ten. to hop on and off the metro. 10.50 euros.
